Circular economy enters the world of sailing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tolentino \/ Verona \u2013 November 27, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 A new collaboration has been established between OneSails<\/strong>, an Italian group and global leader in the production of technologically advanced and sustainable sails, and ESO RECYCLING<\/strong>, a company specialized in the treatment of sports waste, as well as waste from the fashion and work sectors, including personal protective equipment (PPE).<\/p>\n

The aim of the agreement is to recycle and regenerate OneSails\u2019 4T FORTE\u2122 sails<\/strong>, the first sails in the world to be fully recyclable and certified according to ISO 14040 standards, giving them a second life through circular economy<\/strong> processes developed by ESO RECYCLING.<\/p>\n

A second life for 4T FORTE\u2122 sails<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to this synergy, end-of-life OneSails 4T FORTE\u2122 sails will be collected through ESO\u2019s logistics network and sent to the ESO RECYCLING plant in Tolentino (Marche), where they will be regenerated using highly specialized machinery.<\/p>\n

End-of-life sails will be transformed into new secondary raw materials<\/strong> for the creation of new products.<\/p>\n

In fact, 4T FORTE\u2122 sails are made from 100% convertible materials<\/strong> into polymer pellets for the production of new items, thus closing the production cycle within a fully sustainable model.<\/p>\n

Innovation and sustainability: the pillars of OneSails<\/strong><\/p>\n

OneSails 4T FORTE\u2122 sails are manufactured in a single piece<\/strong>, without the use of glues, resins or solvents, and use a patented thermoplastic matrix<\/strong> for assembling the membranes, derived from the same polymer as the structural high-density polyethylene fibers. The polyethylene base shared by all components allows for complete recovery and reuse.<\/p>\n

This technology makes the product unique in the global sailing industry<\/strong>, both from a technical and environmental perspective.<\/p>\n
