The renowned brand<\/strong>, backed by extensive experience in water sports innovation<\/strong> through the use of advanced materials<\/strong> and Italian design, has chosen to give a second life to the personal protective equipment (PPE)<\/a> used within the company once it reaches the end of its service life.<\/p>\n

Our Back to Work<\/strong> service for the collection of end-of-life PPE<\/strong> has been introduced at the company’s headquarters warehouse, which has become a collection point where employees can dispose of their used safety footwear.
\nThis initiative is part of the company’s environmental strategy to reduce its impact and create social value, reflecting its commitment to integrating sustainable practices into daily operations while delivering tangible benefits for both the environment and the community.<\/section>\n

For us at ESO<\/strong>, Back to Work<\/strong> is a tangible project that demonstrates how it is possible to build a more sustainable future<\/strong> by giving waste a second life and transforming it into valuable secondary raw materials.<\/section>\n
Starting with PPE, the project has since expanded into the sports sector through esosport<\/strong>, involving several Italian national training centres where Arena’s Take Back<\/strong> initiative was launched.
\nThe initiative included the installation of ESObox esosport<\/strong> collection containers at the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN) National Training Centres in Naples (Piscina Scandone), Rome (Foro Italico Swimming Complex), and Livorno (both National Training Centres), where Arena retail outlets are also located, as well as at the swimming pool in Riccione, a venue that hosts numerous swimming competitions and events.<\/section>\n
Visitors to these facilities can use the collection boxes to dispose of damaged or end-of-life products, including swimming goggles, slides, fins and swim caps<\/strong>.
\nThis represents another concrete step towards a more sustainable model in the world of sport: giving sports equipment a second life helps reduce environmental impact while promoting a culture of responsibility among athletes.
\nEven a simple action, such as returning used equipment, can help create value by turning waste into new resources.<\/section>\n

“We chose to involve these National Training Centres and the Italian Swimming Federation because they represent the natural meeting point for our Planet Water Community: a network of swimmers, athletes and water enthusiasts who share Arena’s values and choose our products every day.<\/em>
\nThis pilot project was created to raise awareness within the sports community about the importance of proper material recovery while exploring practical circular economy solutions for the swimming sector.”<\/em>
