The renowned brand, backed by extensive experience in water sports innovation through the use of advanced materials and Italian design, has chosen to give a second life to the personal protective equipment (PPE) used within the company once it reaches the end of its service life.

This initiative is part of the company’s environmental strategy to reduce its impact and create social value, reflecting its commitment to integrating sustainable practices into daily operations while delivering tangible benefits for both the environment and the community.

The initiative included the installation of ESObox esosport collection containers at the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN) National Training Centres in Naples (Piscina Scandone), Rome (Foro Italico Swimming Complex), and Livorno (both National Training Centres), where Arena retail outlets are also located, as well as at the swimming pool in Riccione, a venue that hosts numerous swimming competitions and events.
This represents another concrete step towards a more sustainable model in the world of sport: giving sports equipment a second life helps reduce environmental impact while promoting a culture of responsibility among athletes.
Even a simple action, such as returning used equipment, can help create value by turning waste into new resources.

This pilot project was created to raise awareness within the sports community about the importance of proper material recovery while exploring practical circular economy solutions for the swimming sector.”
This is how Arena describes the initiative.
